Over the past few months we have all faced very uncertain times but there is now light at the end of the tunnel.
On 23rd March 2020, we followed the government guidelines and closed our hotel doors to help tackle the spread of COVID-19. At the forefront of our priorities was ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our employees and guests.
Three months later and the world is a better and safer place, meaning we can slowly but surely welcome back our guests and employees to the Seven Hotel. We want to assure all of our guests and employees that we will be undertaking strict health and safety measures before and throughout your visit to ensure that you can stay at the Seven Hotel and relax in style. We will explicitly follow the Government guidelines that are under constant review. Therefore, we may have to cancel your booking if we cannot open on the 4th July and all deposits/payments made will be refunded.
Before You Arrive
In order to understand the new ‘normal’ and make your visit as enjoyable and safe as possible, we will ensure that you are aware of all of the new safety procedures that will be put in place before your arrival.
Our whole hotel will be terminally cleaned and sanitised to the highest standard. We politely ask all of our guests to not enter the premises if you have suspected possible COVID-19 symptoms or if you have come into contact with a suspected COVID-19 carrier.
Pre-arrival communications will be given to provide additional information regarding your accommodation. All guests will be called in advance to confirm your details and our Reservations Team will be able to provide you with all the necessary information regarding staying, dining and any queries that you may have.
Arrival & Check In
As you arrive at the hotel, there will be a number of signs to adhere to the social distancing measures provided by the Government. We politely ask for guests to stick to the directional floor signs and queuing with the appropriate distance. Protective screens will be used at guest and employee contact points for safer check-in. Please be aware we will be accepting debit or credit card only. Throughout the hotel there will be sanitising stations and we ask that these are used as frequently as possible. Check-in times will be 3pm now. We encourage guests who are staying with us at the Seven Hotel to use the bathrooms in your bedrooms when possible to reduce congestion.
Room Service & Breakfast
There will be a limited room service menu available for our guests to enjoy.
In order to protect the safety of our guests and employees there will be continental breakfast only available which will be delivered to your room and left outside of your door. This will be pastries/cereals/breads and jams. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in each room. We are unable to offer hot breakfasts or buffet breakfasts due to Government guidelines.
Seven Hotel Bar
The Seven Hotel bar will be open with the Government recommended restrictions in place. All of our bar team will undergo strict health and safety training to ensure that the service that is provided is as safe as possible. There will be a one way system in place from the bar to the terrace area and we politely ask that all guests adhere to this to reduce congestion.
All of the areas above will be compliant with the Government recommendations.
To minimise contact, we kindly ask you to leave the key in the bedroom upon checking out of the hotel. An invoice of your stay will be emailed and will be charged to the credit or debit card provided for authorisation. Please use the hand sanitisers before leaving the hotel.
Employee Safety Initiatives
We want to reassure all of our guests at the Seven Hotel that all of our employees will undergo comprehensive health & safety training to maintain our high standards. All necessary PPE equipment will be provided to our staff and we will be checking the temperatures of our staff on a regular basis to minimise the risk of infection.
We will continue to review all of the procedures frequently and align with the Government guidelines.
